THORSTEN VOELKEL
PPI AG CEO
Thorsten started his professional career 15 years ago at PPI and has since then been working in the payments business in various roles. He was appointed managing director in 2015, and CEO in 2019. He is responsible for PPI's payments division, leading more than 400 payments professionals across Europe. PPI is one if Europe's payments market leaders, offering an end-to-end payments platform for banks and specialised consulting services. PPI's local entity PPI Italia in Milano is its European cards competence center, offering specialised services for banks and service providers for cards processing, issuing, and authorisation.
