InfoCamere is the digital innovation company for the Italian Chambers of Commerce. Starting from the management of the Companies Register- Italy's official business registry - we provide technologically advanced services to support our partners, meeting the needs of entrepreneurs, professionals and citizens in a context of continuously evolving economic and regulatory systems. We design and develop solutions to simplify the relationship between companies and the Public Administration and to ensure favourable conditions for businesses to continuously evolve and transform, supporting Italy's competitive landscape. Since 1993 we have been managing the Telematic Business Register (www.registroimprese.it), one of the first entirely computerised European public registers. By digitising the Chamber of Commerce information, we give businesses, professionals, citizens and the Public Administration easy access to official data on all Italian businesses, fostering the growth of a more digitally-oriented business culture. We manage Chambers' data through a Cloud system based on the Operational Data Centre in Padua, through which we connect the offices of the Italian Chambers of Commerce. A second Data Centre based in Milan serves as a Disaster Recovery Centre and second Network Access Point. On behalf of the Chamber System, we create state-of-the-art digital services to help boosting businesses' competitiveness and growth and and simplify relationship with the Public Administration. In order to achieve a wider digital inclusion of Italian SMEs, we also devise and set up solutions based on a 'mobile first' approach so to make our services usable in a simple, safe and intuitive way, especially promoting the use of digital identity. Examples of such services are the electronic invoicing service for SMEs and the impresa.italia.it platform, a totally free system through which all Italian businessmen can access and share, also via smartphone or tablet, their official documents.
